Management of the design and construction
- Assist in the selection and appointment of design and engineering consultants
- Advise owner with respect to construction documents, whether appointment of a construction manager at the onset of the project or tendering the project to a general contractor is the best approach
- Review all contract documents and report to the owner for approval and execution
- Coordination and preparation of a construction schedule
- Assist owner with construction budget
- Secure owner’s approval at important stages of the project
- Coordination of meeting and meeting minutes
- Coordination of monthly progress reports
- Supervise preparation of inspection reports
- Administer release of holdback payments
- Ensure that all operating manuals and warranties are provided to the owner
- Coordinate purchase and change orders and make recommendations to owner as to what to execute
